Mahindra – an Indian automobile giant steps into EV race with futuristic design, safety and long-range options.
A Thrilling Design Language
With depleting fossil fuels reserves, rising pollution levels leading to global warming, its no brainer that more and more players are jumping into the EV space.
If Tesla’s success is anything to go by, we can only hope to see wider options across the spectrum. More competition only means one thing for us consumers – more choices, wider design options at different price bands. And we aren’t complaining!
In the ever growing Electric Vehicle segment, we see an Indian automobile giant – Mahindra and Mahindra announcing five electrifying SUVs.
For the uninitiated, Mahindra already sells some of its successful cars in the US such as theirs XUV300, XUV700, Marazzo, Thar, Scorpio, Pick-up trucks, and some more.
Their newly announced EVs will be based on the purpose-built INGLO platform with one of lightest skateboard and high energy-density batteries.
As per their statement: ”Mahindra’s vision is to lead the electric mobility revolution in India by bringing authentic electric
SUVs with cutting-edge technology, through the three key strategic pillars of Brand, Design
and Technology.”
The launch window is kept from 2024-26, It remains to be seen how will these perform in direct competition with Tesla and others, but we are excited already. Bring it on!.
